"They Don't Need To Understand"- Andy Black

Song: They Don't Need To Understand
Album: *not yet announced
Artist: Andy Black (Andy Biersack)
Genre: Dark Wave/ Synth
Rating: ****

For all those who are unaware of this brilliant human being, Andy Biersack (also known as Andy Sixx or Andy Black) is 23, and the lead singer of Black Veil Brides (one of my favorite bands EVER), who are an Indie Rock/ Rock/ Emo band who are just perfect!! I'll leave some links to their songs at the bottom and I'll probable post about them pretty soon.
Andy Black is Biersack's side, solo project. He announced it on his Instagram page. BVB is still going stronger than ever and are currently recording their 4th album. Andy said that this project is not going to get in the way of BVB at all, he just wanted to show the world his 'alter-ego'.

The first song of this project, 'They Don't Need To Understand' was premiered today on the Hot Topic YouTube channel. It shows a new side to Andy that most of us, as fans, have never seen before. For me, it was strange seeing his alone, without a band (especially BVB) behind him, but he seemed completely comfortable with it. The song is very different to how we normally hear him, but I think it suits him.I wasn't sure what to expect before watching it but I was pleasantly surprised. I do - and always will- prefer Black Veil Brides to this, because it is more my style, but I will be one of the first to buy this album, whenever it comes out!

The video was a bit of a disappointment for me. It's all black and white and, although I could never get sick of his wonderful face, every scene is just him singing.I still love the song though, nothing can take away from that!

"Caraphernelia"- Pierce The Veil ft. Jeremy McKinnon

Song: Caraphernelia
Album: Selfish Machines
Singer: Pierce The Veil ft. Jeremy McKinnon (ADTR)
Genre: Post Hardcore
Rating: *****

So, this is one of my favorite bands, with the singer from my absolute favorite band (A Day To Remember) and when I found out about this song I almost creamed with joy- and then I heard it. It. Is. Perfect.

Although Vic (PTV singer) can, and does scream, this song just isn't the same without Jeremy's slightly more aggressive vocals.

If any of you watched the All I Want (ADTR) video and are very observant, you will see that where Jeremy is in this video, Vic is for a short amount of time in that video! Clever huh? Any way great song, great band, great singer.

This is my favorite PTV song, it's called Bulls In The Bronx and as you can probably tell, the band are all originally Mexican and they try to incorporate their roots into some of their songs. (If you play guitar, the solo is INCREDIBLY fun to play. Pretty easy to!)

*** And... All Time Low was AMAZING. Oh my god!!! First we saw Tonight Alive who are incredible, then in the break we went to the VIP bar (we had backstage passes) and I stood about 2m away from THE Jack Barakat ( :0 )!!! Then I walked past Adam Elmakias THREE times and I almost said hi but I didn't wanna interrupt his working... He is taller than he looks in pictures/ on youtube just so you know... (If you don't know who Adam is, he is an incredibly talented photographer who tours all over the world with the best bends ever!! This is his blog: Adam Elmakias' blog
So anyway, All Time Low = AWESOME! I was in the standing bit just off to the right, really close to the stage. They are just so talented- especially live, and the atmosphere was amazing. I don't know how else to explain it to you unless you've been to one of their gigs. If you have, share your experience in the comments!! ***

And I'm sorry, I don't know what is going on with the font/size of this post...
